Job summary

Chartwells is recruiting a part-time Catering Supervisor to oversee all Compass Group UK&I catering and service operations for Chartwells on a 25 hours per week contract. You will ensure our kitchens and service counters run smoothly and help deliver exceptional food experiences.

This role is designed for someone who is passionate about great-tasting food, loves teamwork, and is keen to progress in catering within a company that invests in its people and recognises performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training teams and leading from the front.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across catering and service teams.
