Compass Group UK&I, Chartwells, is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee catering and service operations on a part-time basis (30 hours per week). You will lead kitchens and counters, drive exceptional food and service, and collaborate with the team to achieve KPIs and savings targets.

Your role requires at least two years of catering experience, team leadership, and a solid grasp of budgeting and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hold an NVQ Level 1 & 2 or City & Guilds 706/1 and 2.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Minimum two years of catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsabilités

• Prepare food to high standards.
• Supervise culinary and catering teams to maintain service quality.
• Oversee in-unit catering operations, inventories and budgets.
• Monitor KPIs and targets with your line manager.
• Represent Compass Group UK&I and uphold brand image.
• Identify opportunities for new food or service concepts.
• Liaise between customers and teams to exceed expectations.
• Train and support teams to excel in their roles.
• Implement and review Health & Safety standards.
