Job summary

Chartwells, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking an experienced Catering Manager to oversee all catering and service operations on a 25-hour-per-week basis. You will ensure kitchens run smoothly, deliver exceptional food experiences, and lead teams to achieve KPI targets while maintaining brand standards.

The role requires at least two years in catering, team-management experience, and relevant food hygiene qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Contain strong financial acumen and cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to maintain impeccable service.
• Overseeing in-unit catering operations, inventories and budgets.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Identifying opportunities to drive sales and new concepts.
• Training teams and upskilling staff to excel in their roles.
• Ensuring Health & Safety standards across all catering teams.
