Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers in Ripley is seeking a friendly Customer Service Assistant to deliver outstanding service and support product availability. You'll help with stock, up-sell knowledge, and ensure the store reflects our retail standards.

You'll work part-time, 8 hours per week, including Saturdays, on a temporary 3-month contract. No prior experience is required as full training is provided, and you'll benefit from pension, staff discounts, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Strong retail disciplines and a passion for customer service.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage systems accurately.
• Awareness of Health & Safety and GDPR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused.
• Support the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge.
• Take ownership of a designated department and drive sales through merchandising and promotions.
• Review stock levels and adjust seasonally to meet customer needs.
• Processing goods inwards and maintaining stock file accuracy.
• Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented.
• Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures.
• Work in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance.
