Job summary

Waythrough is hiring a Peripatetic Recovery Coordinator for the North Tyneside Recovery Partnership based in Wallsend. The role focuses on supporting individuals toward long‑term recovery through evidence‑based psychosocial activities aligned with wellbeing principles.

You will work with people affected by substance use, manage caseloads, deliver group and one‑to‑one sessions, and coordinate with partner agencies to ensure timely, high‑quality support.

Qualifications

• Experience in health, social care, criminal justice or related sectors is advantageous.
• Ability to manage caseloads, assess needs and develop recovery plans.
• Capability to work with multi‑disciplinary teams and maintain safeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Recovery Academy pathways and interventions.
• Manage a caseload and review ongoing care plans.
• Complete assessments, risk assessments and safeguarding processes.
• Build relationships with service users, families and partner agencies.
• Provide operational support to reduce waiting lists and cover staff absences.
