Mulgrave Road Surgery is seeking a part-time Practice Nurse to join a busy GP practice. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to patients of all ages, conducting health checks, administering immunisations, cervical screening, wound care and long-term condition reviews.

The post offers flexible part-time hours with some support for extended access sessions. Current NMC registration is required and you will work closely with GPs, healthcare assistants and administrative staff to

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Level 1) with up-to-date CPD and NMC revalidation.
• Experience in primary care, community or outpatient settings preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic clinical record systems (EMIS Web or SystmOne).

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality nursing care within a busy GP practice.
• Carry out health assessments, routine examinations and chronic disease reviews.
• Administer immunisations, vaccinations, injections and medications following guidelines.
• Provide cervical screening, wound care and other treatment room services.
• Support health promotion and patient self-management.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records on the clinical system.
• Work with GPs and multidisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain infection control and stock in treatment rooms.
