Job summary

KCR Solutions Limited in Hexham is seeking a part-time Payroller (15 hours weekly) on a 6-month basis to manage monthly payroll using Sage Payroll. You will set up starters and leavers and ensure accurate deductions.

The role covers seasonal hours, salary amendments, statutory payments, pension data, and payroll reconciliations. Hybrid, flexible working is offered, with ad-hoc queries and invoicing support.

Qualifications

• Strong payroll experience.
• Experience with Sage Payroll preferred.
• Ability to set up new starters and leavers.
• Experience calculating hours for seasonal staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly payroll and process using Sage Payroll.
• Set up new starters and leavers.
• Calculate hours for seasonal staff from timesheets/rota.
• Amend monthly salaried payments as needed.
• Process statutory payments.
• Provide information for pension provider.
• Extract payroll data for input into finance system and perform reconciliations.
• Process payroll-related invoices including pension payments.
• Handle ad-hoc payroll queries.
