• Experienced payroll professional handling a busy or complex payroll.
• Proficient with Sage 50 Payroll; exposure to Sage HR is advantageous.
• Comfortable with manual processes and not fully automated workflows.
• Experience with varied pay structures or employee groups is useful.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll for up to 250 employees.
• Process lunar and monthly payrolls.
• Handle different pay types (hourly, min wage, salaried).
• Support pension payrolls linked to final salary schemes.
• Process payroll using Sage 50 Payroll.
• Oversee pensions including auto-enrolment and audits.
• Liaise with pension providers (e.g., Aviva, The People’s Pension).
• Manage timesheets and ensure timely payroll processing.
• Contribute to digitalising payroll processes.
