Job summary

Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking an experienced Part-Time Payroll Administrator to join a growing manufacturing business in Doncaster. You will own the end-to-end payroll process and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time using Sage Payroll, reporting to the Finance Manager.

You will handle weekly and monthly payroll, maintain records, and manage starters, leavers, and statutory payments, with RTI submissions to HMRC and pension auto-enrolment compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in processing end-to-end payroll in a standalone payroll role.
• Proficient with Sage Payroll and RTI submissions.
• Strong knowledge of HMRC legislation and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, SPP).
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Maintain employee payroll records and data accuracy.
• Handle starters, leavers, salary changes and statutory payments.
• Manage SSP, SMP, SPP and other payroll calculations.
• Submit RTI reports to HMRC.
• Process pension contributions and auto-enrolment requirements.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Respond to employee payroll and pension queries.
