Job summary

KCR Solutions Limited in Hexham is seeking a part-time Payroller (15 hours weekly) on a 6-month basis to manage monthly payroll using Sage Payroll. You will set up starters and leavers and ensure accurate deductions.

The role covers seasonal hours, salary amendments, statutory payments, pension data, and payroll reconciliations. Hybrid, flexible working is offered, with ad-hoc queries and invoicing support.

Qualifications

• Strong payroll experience.
• Experience with Sage Payroll preferred.
• Ability to set up new starters and leavers.
• Experience calculating hours for seasonal staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly payroll and process using Sage Payroll.

• Amend monthly salaried payments as needed.

Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a part-time Payroller (15 hours) to work on a 6 month basis for this great company in Hexham. Your duties will be as follows:

• Preparation of monthly payroll and processing it on Sage Payroll
• Setting up new starters and leavers
• Calculation of hours to pay seasonal staff using timesheets and a rota
• Amendments to monthly salaried payments for changes to rates/ hours worked, as required
• Calculating and processing statutory payments
• Collection and provision of information for the pension provider
• Extracting data from the payroll system to input into the finance system and carrying out reconciliations
• Preparing and processing payroll related invoices, including pension payments, union subscriptions etc
• Dealing with ad-hoc payroll queries

You will have strong payroll experience and will have worked in a similar role previously.
