Job summary

Four Squared Recruitment Ltd is seeking a part-time Payroll and Benefits Officer to own a standalone payroll function in Staffordshire. You will manage up to 250 employees, covering hourly, minimum wage and salaried staff, with pension administration and auto-enrolment duties.

The role involves utilising Sage 50 Payroll, handling manual processes, and contributing to digitalisation efforts as the business transitions to more digital workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sage 50 Payroll is essential.
• Comfortable handling manual payroll processes.
• Experience with different pay types (hourly, minimum wage, salaried) is useful.

Responsibilities

• Manage payroll for up to 250 employees.
• Process a mixture of lunar and monthly payrolls.
• Handle different pay types including hourly, minimum wage and salaried staff.
• Support a separate pensioner payroll linked to a final salary scheme.
• Process payroll using Sage 50 Payroll.
• Manage pensions, including auto-enrolment and pension audits.
• Collaborate with pension providers (e.g., Aviva, The People’s Pension).
• Manage timesheets and ensure payroll is accurate and timely.
• Help to improve and digitise existing payroll processes.
