Job summary

Lakeside Healthcare Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a patient services assistant to join our team. You will help patients access the right service, handle appointment requests and manage reception duties in a courteous, efficient manner.

This role is 20 hours per week and requires you to demonstrate your right to work in the UK at interview; visa sponsorship is not available. Experience in customer service and working in a busy environment is preferred; training on Systm One is provided.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education is required.
• Experience in a busy, multi-functional team is preferred.
• Experience handling confidential information and data is desirable.

Responsibilities

• You will assist and direct patients to the appropriate service or professional.
• Process appointment requests for on-the-day and future appointments.
• Manage telephone calls, take messages, and relay information accurately.
• Register new patients and handle computer data entry and records.
• Ensure building security and patient privacy.
