Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants is seeking a part-time P401 Qualified Laboratory Analyst to join our UKAS-accredited laboratory in Ossett. You will analyse asbestos bulk samples, ensure quality, and report results for internal teams and clients.

Ideal candidates will hold BOHS P401, have 12+ months in a UKAS-lab, and demonstrate attention to detail with good IT and communication skills. Hours are 1:00 pm–5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a pro rata benefits package.

Qualifications

• BOHS P401 qualification is essential.
• At least 12 months’ experience in a UKAS-accredited asbestos laboratory.
• Understanding of asbestos bulk sample analysis and quality procedures.
• Good IT skills and ability to produce accurate reports.

Responsibilities

• Analyse asbestos bulk samples per ISO/IEC 17025 and report results accurately.
• Maintain laboratory records and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Contribute to maintaining UKAS accreditation through audits and development.
