Job summary
Bradley Environmental Consultants is seeking a Part Time Afternoon Shift Qualified Laboratory Analyst to join our Ossett UKAS-accredited laboratory. You will analyse asbestos bulk samples and generate accurate reports, ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 and UKAS requirements.
The role requires a BOHS P401 qualification, 12 months in a UKAS-accredited lab, and strong IT skills. It offers a pro rata salary, company benefits, and excellent development opportunities within the Bradley
Qualifications
- BOHS P401 qualification (essential).
- Minimum 12 months' experience in a UKAS-accredited asbestos laboratory.
- Thorough understanding of asbestos bulk sample analysis and lab quality procedures.
- Good IT skills including Word and Excel.
Responsibilities
- Analyse asbestos bulk samples in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
- Identify and report asbestos-containing materials using approved analytical techniques.
- Produce accurate lab reports for internal and external clients.
- Maintain laboratory records according to quality procedures.
- Comply with UKAS, health & safety legislation and company procedures.
- Participate in internal quality assurance, audits and proficiency testing.
