Bradley Environmental Consultants is seeking a Part‑Time P401 Qualified Laboratory Analyst to join our UKAS-accredited laboratory in Maidstone. You will analyze asbestos bulk samples and ensure reports meet ISO/IEC 17025 standards, while maintaining quality and compliance across the lab.

The role requires a BOHS P401 qualification with at least 12 months in a UKAS-accredited asbestos lab, strong attention to detail, and solid IT skills.

Qualifications

• BOHS P401 qualification is essential.
• At least 12 months’ experience in a UKAS-accredited asbestos laboratory.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused reporting.
• Proficient IT skills including Word and Excel; able to use Teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyse asbestos bulk samples according to ISO/IEC 17025.
• Identify asbestos-containing materials with approved methods.
• Produce accurate laboratory reports for internal and external clients.
• Maintain laboratory records and quality documentation.
