Asda Opticians in Crewe is seeking a part-time Optometrist to conduct eye examinations and comprehensive eye care services. You will work with the Dispensing Optician Manager to train colleagues and maintain department standards, while supporting NHS extended care services and pursuing additional accreditations.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC.
• Evidence of NHS performer status in the relevant nation.
• MECs or WECs accreditation (or willing to gain within 12 months; funded by Asda).
• On track to meet CPD points requirement for continued professional development.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations.
• Collaborate with Dispensing Optician Manager to train, coach and uphold standards.
• Support NHS extended service contracts and pursue necessary accreditations.
