Asda Opticians is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our Washington-based team. You will perform eye examinations, contact lens work, and extended service exams while collaborating with the Dispensing Optician Manager to coach colleagues and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.
• Be on the NHS performer list for the nation you wish to work in.
• WECS/MEC accreditation or willingness to gain within 12 months (funded by Asda).
• On track to meet CPD points requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform eye examinations and extended service examinations.
• Support colleagues with training and coaching; uphold departmental standards.
• Deliver NHS-related eye care services and pursue additional accreditations as needed.
