Sirona care & health CIC is seeking a Part-time Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join Henderson Rehabilitation Unit in Thornbury. The role is 22.5 hours per week across Monday to Wednesday, fixed-term for 12 months, in an NHS community inpatient setting focused on rehabilitation and patient independence.

The OT will work autonomously within a MDT, delivering evidence-based interventions, with supervision from a senior OT and collaboration with GPs, nurses, physiotherapists and social workers.

Competenze

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and registered with HCPC.
• CPD evidences maintained in portfolio.
• Postgraduate study/course.

Mansioni

• Carry out OT assessments and treatments.
• Assist in discharge planning as part of the MDT.
• Hold responsibility for own case load and defined area.
• Provide supervision for students and rehab staff.
• Contribute to service development and groups.
