Job summary

Sirona care & health is seeking a Part time Band 5 Occupational Therapist to join an award-winning team in Thornbury. You’ll contribute to development and implementation of treatment programs, deliver autonomous, evidence-based interventions, and support timely discharges in a community inpatient setting.

You’ll work in a MDT with GPs, nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers, with regular supervision from a senior OT.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver autonomous, evidence-based OT interventions.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
• Capability to manage own caseload and discharge planning.
• Willingness to supervise OT students and rehab staff.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and home-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT assessments to aid diagnosis and treatment.
• Discharge planning as part of MDT.
• Manage own caseload within defined area with supervision.
• Provide supervision for OT students and rehab staff.
• Assist in service development and group formation.
