This lovely family based in Merton, London, is looking for a Part‑time Nanny‑Housekeeper to maintain their house clean and tidy while taking care of their school‑aged child. All general Nanny‑Housekeeping duties are required in this role. Someone who knows how to cook is a must. A valid first‑aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Tuesday and Thursday, 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm in term time. In school holidays, just housekeeping (hours TBC).

Duties include:
  • School pick‑ups.
  • Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child.
  • Ensuring the safety, well‑being, and development of the child.
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child.
  • Keeping child’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
  • Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings, such as visits to the park.
  • Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
  • Providing homework assistance and supporting the child’s educational growth.
  • Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the child’s structure and development.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of a private residence.
  • Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
  • Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
  • Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen area.
  • Washing, drying, and organising clothing and linens.
  • Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding.
  • Making beds and replacing linens as needed.
  • Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher.
