Job summary

Darlington Borough Council Lifeline Services is seeking a dedicated Lifeline Response Officer to install, demonstrate and monitor assistive technology, while answering emergency calls and maintaining data protection standards. You will work in a busy, supportive environment and engage with a broad audience including older and vulnerable residents.

The role requires a calm, caring approach, confidence with databases and MS Office, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Calm, caring and dynamic thinker capable in fast-paced environments.
• Confident with databases and Microsoft Office; good GDPR understanding.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate, install and monitor Lifeline technology.
• Respond to emergency calls and monitor systems as required.
• Handle administrative duties with GDPR compliance and data protection in mind.
