Job summary

Darlington Borough Council Lifeline Services is seeking a Lifeline Response officer to demonstrate, install and monitor Lifeline equipment and respond to emergencies as required.

Ideal candidates are calm, patient and able to communicate compassionately with a wide range of audiences, including older and vulnerable people. DBS check is required; extensive flexible shift patterns are possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles.
• Understanding of GDPR and admin duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate, install and monitor Lifeline technology.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Maintain databases and complete administrative tasks.
