Job summary

BCP Council is recruiting a Telecare Services Officer for the Lifeline Team based at Kinson Hub. The role involves assessing, installing, modifying and fault-fixing telecare equipment to help vulnerable residents live safely at home.

Responsibilities

• The Telecare Services Officer’s primary role is to assess, install, modify, and rectify faults with telecare equipment.
• This includes assessing clients' needs, demonstrating suitable equipment to achieve the required outcomes, and supporting existing clients in using their equipment and accessing related services.
• Officers also provide a mobile response service for some telecare clients, which involves attending clients’ homes to assist during emergencies.
