Lifeline Response Officer (12 Month FTC - Maternity Cover) in Darlington is a part-time role based at the Town Hall, delivering monitoring and installation of Lifeline systems and responding to emergency calls. The post requires a calm, empathetic approach and competent use of databases and Microsoft Office with GDPR awareness.

• Experience in customer-facing roles is advantageous.
• Ability to use databases and Microsoft Office with good GDPR understanding.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate, install and monitor Lifeline technology and respond to emergency calls as required.
• Be calm, caring, and able to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain admin duties with GDPR-compliant practices using databases and MS Office.
• Communicate effectively and compassionately with a broad range of audiences.
• Experience with older and vulnerable people is beneficial.
