Job summary

Roedean is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our Learning Support team. The role supports pupils with additional learning needs, helping them access the curriculum and participate in school life.

This part-time post is 22 hours per week, Monday to Thursday in term time. Applicants should have GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above; a qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or SEND is advantageous. An enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• A qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Education, SEND or related field would be advantageous.
• An enhanced DBS check is required.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with additional learning needs and SEND.
• Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating in school life.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and the wider Learning Support team to develop independence and confidence.
