Job summary

Nationwide is recruiting a Customer Representative for our Bury branch. You will assist customers in person, over the phone and online, helping with everyday transactions and guiding them to suitable banking services and digital tools that make managing money easier.

The role is permanent and part-time (21 hours/week) with a proactive, customer-first mindset and a commitment to community on the high street. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering excellent customer experiences across branch, phone and digital channels.
• Ability to guide customers through banking products and services with care and clarity.
• Comfort with a fast-paced branch environment and collaborating with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted help with banking.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately, prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers to products and services that fit their financial needs and goals.
• Work with colleagues to deliver high-quality customer service at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot issues and escalate where needed to protect customers.
