Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Imaging Receptionist to join the busy imaging department. The role involves greeting patients, registering them, handling enquiries, and providing administrative support within a supportive NHS team.

The position is part-time (24 hours/week) with flexible working opportunities and rostered shifts across 08:00–20:00, across a 7-day week. Interview date is 23 November 2026.

Qualifications

• 2 GCSEs at grade 4 or above including Maths or English.
• Reception experience is acceptable.
• Experience with frontline administration and customer service.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check in patients; provide efficient reception duties.
• Respond to telephone enquiries in a professional manner.
• Adhere to Access Policy and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Communicate with patients and referrers about queries and schedules via CRIS.
• Book new and follow-up X-ray appointments when trained.
• Support imaging service with administrative tasks (surveys, filing, emails).
• Cover other imaging receptionists during sickness/leave as needed.
• Work across imaging reception sites and across a 7-day week as required.
