Job summary

C2 Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced HR Business Partner - HR Systems & Projects to join our multi-site retail business. This role combines hands-on HR systems development with generalist HR partnering and project delivery, supporting a culture of collaboration, wellbeing and development.

You will own HRIS (ideally iTrent) configuration and reports, drive system improvements, and provide strategic HR advice across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR advisor.
• Hands-on experience configuring and developing an HRIS (ideally iTrent).
• Experience with HR system upgrades, testing and troubleshooting.
• Strong HR data, reporting and data integrity understanding.
• Experience delivering HR systems or process improvement projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own the development, configuration, maintenance and optimisation of the HRIS (iTrent or similar).
• Support system upgrades, testing, implementation and troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve the employee/manager experience.
• Maintain accurate HR data and develop meaningful HR reports/MIS.
• Support integrations between HR, payroll and other systems.
• Provide expert HR advice across the employee lifecycle.
• Manage complex ER cases and assist managers with decisions.
• Lead HR projects on organisational change, policy development and process improvement.
• Support workforce planning, talent management and wellbeing initiatives.
• Coordinate with external payroll provider for accurate payroll processing.
