Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting an HR Manager to lead the HR function for a Peterborough-based commercial property business. The role is part-time, office-based, with up to 28 hours per week and pro rata salary up to £40,000 full-time equivalent.

You will support managers and employees nationwide, combining hands-on HR with shaping people strategy and policy development. The role requires strong HR generalist experience and knowledge of employment law.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR generalist.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and ability to handle employee relations.
• Experience writing HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong organisational skills, discretion and a flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Advise and support managers on HR matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and employment contracts.
• Coordinate learning and development, talent management and succession planning.
• Oversee pay and benefits and manage payroll with support from the HR Administrator.
• Ensure HR processes comply with employment legislation and support business objectives.
