Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function for a nationwide commercial property business, based in Peterborough. This part-time role blends hands-on HR with shaping people strategy and requires strong employment law knowledge.

You will manage full employee lifecycle, advise managers, develop policies, coordinate learning, and oversee payroll with support from the HR Administrator. Flexible hours and pro rata salary reflect the 3-4 day week.

HR Manager Part-Time

Location: Peterborough office-based
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum full-time equivalent, pro rata
Hours: hours per week across 3 4 days

Interaction Recruitment is looking for an experienced HR Manager to join an established commercial property business in Peterborough.

Taking ownership of the HR function, you will support managers and employees across a nationwide business, combining hands-on HR responsibilities with the opportunity to shape its people strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Advise and support managers on HR matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and employment contracts.
• Coordinate learning and development, talent management and succession planning.
• Oversee pay and benefits and manage payroll with support from the HR Administrator.
• Ensure HR processes comply with employment legislation and support business objectives.

• Proven experience as an HR generalist.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and confidence handling employee relations matters.
• Experience writing HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
