Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support a nationwide commercial property business in Peterborough, taking ownership of the HR function and blending hands-on HR with strategic people initiatives.

This part-time role (up to 28 hours) offers a pro rata salary with up to £40,000 full-time equivalent, and a focus on policy development, payroll coordination with the HR Administrator, and advising managers on employee relations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR generalist.
• Strong knowledge of employment law.
• Experience writing HR policies and employment documentation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Organisational skills, discretion and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Advise and support managers on HR matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and employment contracts.
• Coordinate learning and development, talent management and succession planning.
• Oversee pay and benefits and manage payroll with support from the HR Administrator.
• Ensure HR processes comply with employment legislation and support business objectives.
