Job summary

Flexspace seeks an experienced HR Manager for a part-time role in Peterborough. The position is 16-20 hours per week, with a pro rata salary of £50,000 per year based on a 37.5-hour week, and is spread over 3–4 days. You will lead HR and talent management, covering recruitment, L&D, compensation, employee relations and policy development to support business needs.

The role focuses on attracting, developing and retaining talent while ensuring compliant HR practices across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Partner with and coach the management team on people management to foster a high-performance culture.
• Lead full Employee Lifecycle: recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary matters, contracts, pay and benefits, learning and development, talent management, succession planning, and performance management.
• Drive ongoing development of HR policies, processes and best practices to ensure compliance and support business objectives.
• Manage payroll with support from the HR Administrator.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with and coach the management team on all aspects of people management, building strong relationships that enable constructive challenge and support a high-performance culture.


• Lead the full employee lifecycle, taking responsibility for all aspects of HR management and development, including recruitment and selection, employee relations, disciplinary and grievance matters, contracts, pay and benefits, learning and development, talent management, succession planning, and performance management.


• Drive the continuous development of HR policies, processes, and best practices to ensure compliance and support business objectives.


• Manages the payroll with support from the HR Administrator.
