Job summary

Confidential Client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to own the HR function in a standalone, part-time capacity (20–25 hours per week). You will shape HR policies, support managers, develop employees (around 60 staff), and ensure compliance with UK employment law.

You will manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through development, performance management, and offboarding.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification required, Level 7 desirable.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience delivering and supporting change management initiatives.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review and maintain HR policies and procedures.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and new starter documentation.
• Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
• Coordinate payroll changes and benefits with Finance.
• Oversee performance management, learning and development activities.
• Handle employee lifecycle events and ensure proper documentation.
• Support organisational change initiatives and HR process improvements.
• Maintain confidential personnel records and HR databases.
• Provide general HR support and research as needed.
