Job summary

Talent Guardian is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a part-time, standalone role in Lymington. You will guide managers and staff across the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliant HR processes and policies while acting as a trusted advisor to senior management.

Key duties include advising on employee relations, recruitment support, policy maintenance, and HR data reporting. The role offers flexible hours and a collaborative environment in a convenient location with on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Manager or senior HR advisor.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER matters.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a standalone HR role.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on employee relations including disciplinaries and grievances.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee development.
• Maintain HR policies, procedures and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and best practices.
• Manage full employee lifecycle: contracts, probation reviews, performance, offboarding.
• Monitor HR metrics; support payroll data and reporting.
• Drive employee engagement and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
• Identify process improvements and act as advisor to senior management.
