Job summary

Queen Alexandra College in Birmingham is seeking a part-time Sight Village Events Co-Ordinator to support the planning, development, and delivery of UK events.

You will handle organisation, administration, health & safety, sponsorship, exhibitors, and visitor relations, with overnight travel as required. The role requires IT and Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, driving licence, and ability to multitask within budget and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Educated to A Level or equivalent.
  • Experience in marketing, communications, events and relationship management.
  • Must hold a full, clean driving license.
  • Experience in planning and delivering events.
  • Ability to build relationships with organisations and individuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and adaptable to audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver annual Sight Village events with strong administration and CRM.
  • Explore sponsorships, partnerships and funding opportunities.
  • Attend Sight Village events, including overnight travel when required.
  • Produce high-quality digital and printed marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with QA Charity’s Marketing team on campaigns and social media.
  • Produce external communications and seasonal e-catalogues.
  • Maintain GDPR-compliant external contacts database.
  • Support data collection, entry and reporting; raise issues when needed.
