Job summary

Havant & South Downs College is seeking an organised EHCP Coordinator to join the Additional Learning Support team. You will coordinate support for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and High Needs Students, ensuring needs are met through effective planning and timely annual reviews.

The ideal candidate will understand SEND Code of Practice, have strong communication and organisational skills, and be capable of managing complex caseloads with external agencies and colleges.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and SEND Code of Practice.
• Experience with EHCPs, annual reviews and funding templates.
• Ability to coordinate Learning Support for High Needs Students.

Responsibilities

• Support ALS timetabling and plan delivery of learning interventions, maintaining own caseload.
• Ensure delivery of outstanding learning support interventions and act as a role model for new team members.
• Assist in monitoring the quality of learning support in the classroom.
• Manage Local Authority processes for EHCPs, annual reviews and funding templates, staying up to date with changes in policies.
• Plan and coordinate learning interventions for High Needs Students and other EHCP learners.
