Itchen Sixth Form College in Southampton is seeking an ambitious EHCP Coordinator to support students with Education, Health and Care Plans. You will oversee EHCPs, coordinate annual reviews and help integrate specialist support within academic programmes.

Reporting to the SENDCo, you will contribute to an inclusive, high-quality SEND service, work with families and college staff, and promote safeguarding while developing best practices to help learners realise their potential.

Competenze

Educated to at least L3 or equivalent standard.
Maths and English at L2 or above.
Willingness to undertake further training relevant to the post.
Experience delivering support to students with SEND.
Proven ability to work with parents/guardians.

Mansioni

Oversee all EHCPs and coordinate annual reviews.
Assist SENDCo in developing an outstanding SEND service.
Promote safeguarding and welfare of children and vulnerable adults you encounter.
Promote inclusion and set high expectations.
Develop understanding of barriers to learning and SEND good practice.
Ensure college meets needs of all students with Education, Health and Care plans.
Attend annual reviews of prospective students where possible.
