Job summary

Nationwide in Scotland's Rutherglen branch is hiring a Customer Consultant to help customers in person or on the phone. You'll support everyday transactions, answer queries and guide customers toward banking services and digital tools that make managing their money easier.

No two days are the same, and you’ll be trusted to adapt your approach to meet customer needs. This is a permanent part-time role, 21 hours per week, Tuesday, Wednesday & Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service helps, but banking experience is not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into the branch and understand their needs to offer trusted help.
• Handle transactions and queries accurately while keeping safety and fairness in mind.
• Help customers get the most from digital services and guide them to suitable banking products.
• Work with colleagues in a busy branch to deliver excellent service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes and escalate concerns to protect customers.
