Job summary

Nationwide is hiring a Customer Representative in Totton, Hampshire, to support customers in branch, over the phone and online. This permanent, part-time role is 24 hours per week across Monday to Saturday.

You’ll help with everyday transactions, answer queries and guide customers to digital tools while maintaining high service standards. Training is provided, with a focus on customer-first behaviours.

Qualifications

• Experience or passion for working in a customer service environment helps.
• Able to demonstrate empathy, patience and clear communication.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Willingness to use technology and digital banking tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to the branch and understand their needs with friendly, trusted help.
• Handle a range of transactions and queries accurately while prioritising security and fairness.
• Guide customers to banking products and services that fit their needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent service, even at peak times.
• Follow processes, spot issues and escalate when needed to protect customers.
