Newcastle Building Society is recruiting a Customer Adviser to join our friendly branch team. You will greet customers, open accounts, handle transactions and help people plan their financial needs with care.

You'll use your strong people skills and listening abilities daily, working 28 hours a week across Tue–Sat on a rota. We offer training, development and a competitive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Being great with people and building relationships with customers are top of your skills list.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to empathise are equally as important.

Responsibilities

• Open and operate tills at the start of the day and prepare for the working day.
• Process customer transactions at the counter and assist in opening savings accounts.
• Cash up and close at the end of the day, ensuring accuracy and security.
• Engage with customers to understand their financial needs and goals and provide excellent service.
