Job summary

Newcastle Building Society is looking for a Customer Adviser to join our in-branch team. You will engage with customers daily, listen to their financial needs, and help them achieve their goals through personal, face-to-face service.

You’ll receive a tailored 12-week training program and ongoing development opportunities, with a 35-hour week (Mon–Fri 9am–5pm) in a welcoming community setting.

Qualifications

• Strong listening skills and the ability to empathise.
• Great with people and building relationships.
• A desire to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and set up tills at the start of the day.
• Process customer transactions at the counter.
• Assist in opening savings accounts.
• Cash up and close at the end of the day.
• Provide excellent customer service in a face-to-face setting.
