Job summary

Flexspace, a property specialist operating across 50 sites, is expanding its Credit Control team in Peterborough. This part-time role (25 hours/week) focuses on arrears management, reporting, and driving collection processes to protect company revenue.

The ideal candidate has credit control experience and can work closely with site managers to resolve disputes, monitor KPI targets, and ensure timely cash collection. Salary ranges £28,000–£35,000 per year pro rata.

Qualifications

• Credit Control experience essential.
• Legal experience pursuing court actions desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent use of Yardi; keep notes up to date.
• Monitor and manage the Credit Control mailbox in line with KPIs.
• Chase delinquent DD failures.
• Manage site receivables to meet collection targets.
• Register customer queries in Yardi and monitor progress.
• Prepare and dispatch monthly chase letters and legal notices.
• Communicate debt risks to site/area management; conduct Monthly Aged Debt Review.
• Prepare lock-out lists for delinquent accounts.
• Escalate material risk to senior management.
• Provide high level service to internal/external customers.
• Manage goals for bad debts and overdue debt.
• Accurate reporting of performance against KPIs and timescales.
• Review Tenant Deposits levels to cover outstanding sums.
• Review the Debt Portal or load new accounts.
