South Lanarkshire Council in East Kilbride is seeking a part-time Cleaning Supervisor to work 15 hours per week during term time at St Andrews and St Brides High School. The split is 7.5 hours for supervision and 7.5 hours for cleaning, with specific shifts listed in the job description.

The role includes supervising a team, setting up rooms for lets, ensuring COSHH compliance, site safety, and building security.

Responsabilités

• Carry out cleaning on floors, furniture, fixtures and walls.
• Monitor cleaning standards under COSHH and report issues to management.
• Set up rooms for lets and be the on-site responsible person for safety reporting.
• Supervise a team of Facility Assistants, including assisting with training; recruitment & selection; maximising attendance; team brief.
• Carry out the cleaning function on floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, sanitary areas, walls.
• Ensure the security of the building and act as a key-holder when required.
• Assist recruitment checks if needed and comply with PVG/Disclosure requirements.
• Do not canvass Elected Members or employees in connection with the appointment.
