Job summary

Bupa Mindplace Reading is seeking a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist for part-time hours at our Reading clinic. You will conduct high-quality CBT, deliver assessments, and offer flexible delivery models including face-to-face, phone, or video sessions.

Working with the therapy team, you will follow case management processes, supervise clinical work, and contribute to patient pathways and wellbeing initiatives. Reading location, hybrid-like schedule with two days per week options.

Qualifications

• ESSENTIAL Full Accreditation with BABCP.
• Holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT/High Intensity) which is BABCP accredited.
• At least 2 years’ post-qualification experience providing high intensity CBT interventions.
• DESIRABLE Training and accreditation in EMDR.
• Corporate experience and business understanding.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or brief interventions with strong clinical outcomes.
• Deliver comprehensive assessments and formulations driving evidence-based intervention.
• Ensure thorough assessments determine the most appropriate pathway of care and support.
• Provide models of service delivery: face-to-face, telephone, or video consultations.
• Adhere to case management processes and collaborate with Clinical Leads and the therapy team.
• Adhere to sessional limits per Private Medical Insurance while working toward recovery goals.
• Provide signposting or onward referrals when required.
• Offer ad-hoc wellbeing support and coaching as needed.
• Conduct one-off assessments and referral recommendations.
• Deliver group psychoeducation and mental health promotion activities.
• Attend regular clinical supervision and engage with team improvements.
