Job summary

MERKUR Slots is recruiting for a Part Time Team Member at Retford. The role involves delivering a warm welcome, high-quality customer service and supporting daily venue operations across shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

20 hours per week with day and night rate options and a clear progression path within a market-leading brand. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
• Must be flexible to work on rota including weekends and bank holidays.
• Experience in retail, hospitality or gambling environment is desirable.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced venue.
• Attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain venue housekeeping to the highest standard across all areas.
• Support service rounds and refreshments in line with brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behaviour and report anything suspicious or disruptive.
• Assist with admin tasks to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Help promotions run smoothly and drive customer satisfaction.
• Uphold company policies on safeguarding and challenge 25 where required.
• Maintain personal presentation and adhere to the brand dress code.
