Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner in West Bridgford. This permanent part-time role pays £15,900–£17,100 per year, with reporting to Colleen Jones, and requires a full, clean UK driving licence and experience in care.

You will train and support new carers, ensuring high standards of care and compliance. You will lead onboarding, coaching and mentoring, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and contributing to a positive, people-first team

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
