Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare in Lincoln is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner on a fixed-term, part-time basis. You will coach new carers from interview through onboarding, help maintain quality and compliance, and strengthen relationships with customers to deliver exceptional care.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and desire to take the next step in your career.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
