Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. is seeking a part-time Care and Training Practitioner in the Cramlington area. You will mentor new carers, support compliance, and help maintain high quality care and meaningful customer relationships.

The role offers a permanent, part-time schedule with a salary of £13,250–£14,250 per year, and benefits including generous leave, discounts, and wellbeing support. You’ll be an integral part of a caring, growth-oriented team at East 7.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.
• A people-first mindset – calm, kind and ready to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
