Qualifications

• Culinary qualifications, preferably City & Guilds 706 '1 & 2', or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is essential.
• Good communication skills to understand residents’ dietary needs.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and serve meals that meet the dietary needs of residents.
• Plan menus with the Head Chef.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations and maintain hygiene standards.
• Keep accurate records of food supplies.
• Oversee stock rotation and ordering.
• Ensure health and safety compliance in the kitchen.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas.
