Job summary

Oasis Academy Bank Leaze is seeking an Assistant Principal for SEND and Inclusion on a 0.6 FTE (3 days per week) basis. You will lead the strategic development of inclusive provision, driving early identification and timely support for vulnerable learners.

The role requires a proven track record in SEND outcomes, knowledge of SEND legislation, and the ability to empower staff through coaching and strong leadership. The academy prides itself on a highly inclusive ethos within Bristol.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of improving outcomes for children with SEND.
• Knowledge of SEND legislation, practice and provision.
• Ability to inspire, coach and develop others.
• Experience leading inclusive practices across an academy.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for SEND, inclusion and vulnerable learners across the academy.
• Champion high expectations and ambitious outcomes for children with SEND and those facing disadvantage.
• Lead a culture where adaptive teaching and inclusive practice are core responsibilities.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and external agencies to secure strong outcomes.
• Ensure children's voices and family partnerships inform decision-making.
